On the 21st of October it was our Interschool Sports team’s day when we travelled to Cann River College and so did Mallacoota College.  Well before we left we’d been put into random teams and 1 of our teams had to be on the opposing team.
There were 8 teams and I was in team 1. Everyone had to participate in every sport which included Basketball, Volleyball, Netball and Soccer.
First up I had Cann River in Volleyball. They had a good start but we came back and took over destroying them by like 7 points. It’s not my favourite sport but I enjoyed and played quite good.

In our second game we played Mallacoota in Netball and we just dominated again. I had NO clue of what I was doing and how to play the game but we still were the victors.
The surprising game 3 was played against our own school which was playing for the opposition and we ended our two winning streaks by drawing the game. I had few opportunities just like everyone else but I had the most and didn’t put the damage on the scoreboard.
Last but not least we played Basketball, the one I was looking forward to playing. Surprisingly I didn’t play that good when I should have taken control. But anyway my team just absolutely conquered the game without trouble.
Our win/loss ratio was 3-1-0. This day was an enormous day to meet new people and ask them questions about what it’s like for them living in the country. I’ve never done stuff like this before, playing those sports besides Basketball. I was trying to convince the teachers to play football but it didn’t work out.
