On the 30th of August, we had a rest day. The day started off with half of the school going to the beach for surf, whilst the other half stayed back and worked on their Passports. The afternoon came and the cooking committee put their theme on display….BOGANS!

For entrees we had garlic bread, mains were Chicken Parmigiana with a side of Hash browns and Veggies. Everyone dressed up for the occasion, the girls had thick orange foundation and slug eyebrows and boys were rocking the socks and thongs. We set out all the tables like a pub, and got each pair of roommates, to sit with another pair of roommates, which was a great way to let everyone interact with each other. A special thanks to the cooking committee for making it such a great night, Ms Wade and Ms Pascall for cooking us the food and Matt Shem and Helena Bishop for volunteering to lend a hand.

For evening class, we had Tony Briggs come in and talk to us about the making of The Sapphires. He showed us some photos and videos on set and it was a really fun and interesting way to spend the night.
