Hello my name is Lucy, today I had "Beliefs and Values" with a guest speaker Darren McCubbin. It was a very interesting class. Firstly, Darren told us about himself and all the things he did in his life and these things have shaped who he is today. In the class he told us a story then set us a problem and made us think about what the resolution should be or what could have happened to stop the problem. It was an activity that made us all think about what our morals were and how different everyone’s morals were. We were set a problem and we all argued with each other, doing this we all gave our own opinions about what happened. Even those who don’t normally have much of an input in class were voicing their opinions and standing strong by them. Darren McCubbin did a wonderful job getting these thoughts out of us and making us think about the subject.
