Surfin’ Safari Print

Today 2A hit East Cape beach in Cape Conran. We were all eager to get into the water so grabbed our boards and chucked our wetties on. Our knowledgeable surfing experts, Mel and Pete, helped us with our surfing facts.

We did a few warm up stretches then, since it was our second surf, went straight into the water. It was freezing. We were a bit rusty at first but eventually our super surfer skills picked up and we were riding the waves. The swell was quite small yet we still managed to carve up the surf. All of us stood up at least once and some very skilled individuals perfected the nose dive. Overall it was an AWESOME day and we learnt heaps.
