Enviro Bike Ride Print
Jayden - Enviro Bike RideToday we started our day with a drive out to a logging coupe near Cabbage Tree Palms. We got to our destination at the logging coupe, we got out and heard the birds whistling and chirping. We went for a little walk to the middle where we had a talk. We set off to explore the coupe and saw lots of charcoal and dead trees.

We answered a few questions about the environment there. We also had a discussion about whether logging was good or bad. We got our bikes then off we went on a 26km bike ride. The first few kilometers were hard but we got the hang of it. Then we stopped for lunch. After lunch we set off again on our massive ride. We got to the end of the Cabbage Tree Palms road; none of us were willing to give up. We traveled the next few kilometers on a rocky dirt road until we hit the main road where some of us were in a bit of pain but kept on going. We hit the dirt again at Marlo Plains road. A few big hills came upon us, some were really tired but kept on going. We reached the main road again. We were on the main stretch and saw the sign that said 300m to go till we hit the drive-way, 1km up the drive-way we go, we touch home base. We emptied the trailer and cleaned our bikes, packed the trailer back up and hit the showers.
