A few days ago, 2A had our first expo.
On the first day, we got all our food and stuffed it into our packs.
Then we set off for the long walk.
We walked along the beach for about one and a half hours and then decided to take our morning tea break. When we got up again, we were all feeling energetic.
As we walked along the sand, every step became harder and harder and everyone was grateful when we finally got to our lunch spot, we were all grateful for the break.
Everyone had wraps for lunch and a few people decided to have a lunch ‘pun off’ which mainly revolved around relish puns and lettuce puns.
We packed up and set off again.
When we got to our campsite at Cape Conran, we set up our tents and went for a swim in the lake.
Everyone decided that it was a good idea to swim underwater and grab other people’s legs.
After the swim everyone dried off and started getting ready for dinner.
Dinner was a stressful affair for some and my group nearly burnt our carrots.
For our reflection, we went back to the lake to watch the sunset as we wrote about our day.
It was an amazing end to a crazy day.
